Dateline: September 10, 2008, Oak Park, Illinois. Penguins star Sarah Steadman today released an official photo. Ms. Steadman explained that she is overwhelmed with autograph requests, many of which are for sub-standard or un-flattering objects including old, outdated or "uncute" photos of herself. "I want to insure that fans have a memento of me that is actually worth signing" she said. The photo Ms. Steadman released features a pink soccer ball and her endearing but lopsided smile.
In other news regarding Ms. Steadman, she has asked the press to refer to her as "Roku," the Japanese word for her jersey number six. Ms. Steadman speaks Japanese, and it is believed that her request is an attempt to generate additional publicity similar to that of the Cincinnati Bengals' receiver Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson.
